The Process

Leading institutions in the field of Clean Energy are invited to nominate mainstreaming pioneers and role models - according to predefined criteria - in seven categories. The wide reach of each institution's international networks and reputation ensures nomination of the best candidates in each field.

Based on these nominations, the jury selects the winners. There are no runners-up, rather only nominees and winners. All nominees remain candidates for the following years, as long as their file is updated by its nominating institution.
